But as a Raiders fan, it's all about Beast Mode at the minute.

Beast Mode should be proper replacement for Latavius? Or upgrade, matter of fact?  With DeAndre Washington as proper backup, Cordarrelle Patterson added to already strong receiver department, draft was for there for secondary lines - Conley and Melifonwu are good picks in prospect. If Carr stays healthy, strong contender to Patriots should be in line.

I think DeAndre Washington will get more of a workload which meant Latavous Murray would only have been of use in situations which require power running. With that in mind, better to let him walk and being in someone cheaper. Beast Mode was perfect, especially as we were not well placed in the draft to grab Fournette. It meant we could avoid reaching for a running-back in the draft, and find the corner we need and a safety that could eventually replace Reggie Nelson.

I think a bit of work is needed in the defence yet to tackle Pats unless some of these lower draft picks turn out well. And to be fair, many have under McKenzie.

My team, the Eagles, are in the Superbowl!  :vcool:

Last time we were there was in 2004, also against the Patriots (and lost!) but this time I think theres a chance, they are playing very well

For no particular reason, I'm not a huge fan of the Eagles, but they'll have my support in a fortnight's time. Think many were quick to write them off once Wentz went down as Foles can be a pretty bad player, but Foles has always been absolutely fine on a good team and he's proving so again. Mediocre to bad quarterbacks have won Superbowls.

They have a shot against the Pats because aside from the fact that it's the Pats, Pats don't scream Superbowl winner to me. It's difficult to see how a team with their defence can win the Superbowl and they've probably been lucky to come up against two teams that struggled to get going on offence on the day in Titans and Jags, which I don't think would've been the case had they met Chiefs and Steelers. And they may be lucky to come up against Eagles rather than Vikings.

But at the end of the day, this Eagles team are in the Superbowl, so they can win it. That simple.

Ive always been a fan of Foles and I was gutted when that moron Chip Kelly traded both him, and McCoy in the same offseason.

Granted with hindsight it worked out because I think Wentz has got the potential to be one of the best QBs of his generation and IMO will win more than one ring (hopefully in a dark green shirt!) but im really glad that Foles has the chance to win a Superbowl for the Eagles.
I feel a bit sorry for Wentz because he wont get chance this year!

The Pats have a terrible defence, but Brady just gets it done. Its like the Real Madrid Galacticos team, the strategy is just score more! Doesnt matter if we give up 4 TDs, cos Brady will score 5.

The atmosphere here is electric. Fans think the Birds can win. I hope so. Brady doesnt need a 6th, five is plenty. A lot of people are waiting on an Eagles championship so they can die in peace.
