Should've said that the numbers are not absolutely set in stone as we're talking somewhat in the present and the future, but the money will be - give or take - those numbers.

There have been a couple of changes the distribution of TV rights money that should make Lazio more competitive within the league.

20% of the money used to be divided based on how a team has done in the league post-WW II. Now this is divided according to league position in the last five years.

Also, changes have been made to the demographic quota meaning that Lazio - as a Roman club - come away with more money.

Every mid-table to relegaton battling club comes out of this new TV deal richer, but it really alters the big clubs as this will show you:

Juventus - 2017-18: 110.6 million - 2018-19: 106 million
Napoli - 2017-18: 67.1 million - 2018-19: 88.8 million
1927- 2017-18: 63  million - 2018-19: 88.5 million
Inter - 2017-18: 88.6 million - 2018-19: 86.3 million
Milan - 2017-18: 82.6 million - 2018-19: 78.2 million
Lazio - 2017-18: 49.1 million - 2018-19: 72.8 million
Fiorentina - 2017-18: 48.4 million - 2018-19: 68 million

So it's no longer the case that Juventus, Inter and Milan get rich on the TV money because they have been historically successful - now Napoli, 1927 and Lazio, because of results on the field, are either on par or close to being on par.

And for Lazio, it's a huge leap. This season, it's 23.7 million more to us.

No wonder Lotito is now aiming to still accomplish better next season.  The swift mercato, still ongoing and his spoken out ambition says it all.

A populair name in the squad would also increase viewing numbers ....

Lazio released their balance of the financial year which reveals what we spent on some players.

Durmisi - 7.5 million
Marusic - 5 million (down 500k on previous figure for some reason)
Sprocati - 3.25 million
Caicedo - 2.5 million
Caceres - 1.287 million

It appears Lazio spent about 40 million in the transfer window and sold Anderson for 31 million euro.

Furthermore, Lazio made a massive 37 million euro profit in the past 12 months. Now, while some could reasonably argue that money should be re-invested, I'll point out two other key figures.

1). Personnel cost has risen by almost 40% (about 23 million) in the past 12 months. In short, keeping this team together is costing us a lot of money.

2) Despite a huge profit, Lazio are in a slightly worse financial position because to make money, we needed to borrow money.
