I was very annoyed at the fact that Felipe Anderson's penalty against Ludogorets was saved by a goalkeeper who was allowed to come off his line early, and the goal-line referees did not raise an eyebrow. And I was somewhat satisfied that Beto was allowed to do this on both saves last night and nothing was done about it. This is the easiest decision that could possibly be made in football and these referees, who are getting paid to spot it, are just ignoring it. Gutless.

After they take out a restraining order on Jorge Jesus, I hope UEFA strikes them off and implements a new solution. UEFA are talking about penalising players who injure opposition players by making them stand off the field during the period of treatment, yet they are allowing this nonsense to continue. Makes zero sense.

When you have a person like Platini in charge that's what you get...

Grande Sevilla. It's the team I really like from Spain and they truly are one of the best team in Europe!

Another painful night for Benfica and its fans, including me. With all respect to Sevilla, Benfica really deserved to win I believe. They had the better chances and losing the final two years in a row is heartbreaking stuff.

And Beto jumping off his line was ridiculous. Some of the officiating has become such a joke.
