Confirmed Transfer Figures (end of 2013)
« on: December 09, 2014, 11:16:57 AM »

Every year the club announce the exact transfer value of players on the books of the club, yet many websites provide values that are speculated in the media at the time and do not go back and change the number.

So, here is a list of confirmed transfer values. As the club releases a balance sheet every year, I'll try and open a new topic every year and will leave it open for discussion.

Giuseppe Biava (Genoa) - 1.04 million
Stefano Mauri (Udinese) - 3 million
Sergio Floccari (Genoa) - 8.35 million
Giuseppe Sculli (Genoa) - 2.93 million
Federico Marchetti (Cagliari) - 5.05 million
Antonio Candreva (Udinese) 1.7 million (50%)
Andre Dias (Sao Paolo) - 2.63 million
Mauro Zarate (Al-Sadd) - 20.2 million
Gonzalo Barreto (Danubio) - 1.78 million
Luis Cavanda - 45k
Hernanes (Sao Paolo) - 11.09 million
Cristian Ledesma (Lecce) - 4.5 million
Michael Ciani (Bordeaux) - 1.90 million
Emiliano Alfaro (Liverpool Montevideo) - 2.49 million
Stefan Radu (Dinamo Bucharest) - 3.85 million
Abdoulay Konko (Genoa) - 3.88 million
Ogenyi Onazi - 160k
Alvaro Gonzalez (Defensor) - 4.89 million
Senad Lulic (Young Boys) - 3.15 million
Vinicius - 152k
Felipe Anderson (Santos) - 7.48 million
Etrit Berisha (Kalmar) - 400k
Lucas Biglia (Anderlecht) - 8.26 million
Brayan Perea (Deportivo Cali) - 2.34 million
Seyi Adeleke (Flying Sports) - 250k
Emmanuel Sani - 160k
Aurimas Vilkaitis - 250k
Mamdou Tounkara - 50k
Keita Balde Diao - 460k
Josip Elez (Hajduk Split) - 450k
Milos Antic (Grasshopper) - 140k

As for players sold in recent times, a balance sheet until June 2014 revealed the following players were sold at the following prices.

Kozak (Aston Villa) - 6.5 million
Floccari (Sassuolo) - 2 million
Hernanes (Inter) - 20 million

As much as i like Floccari and i'm very thankful for what he has done for Lazio ... he was much too expensive when he joined us.

Great topic, really useful, going to steal this for a Facebook group. Anyway, my eyes are burning seeing the money we paid for Zarate, Sculi, Alfaro. But at the same time, I can't help but smile at the 20mln we got for Hernanes.

Cittaceleste are running an article on this today, but the document they mention has been available for almost a month. It is a balance for the months of July - September this year. Lazio recorded a 5.41 million loss, but clarified some figures.

- 4 million was spent on purchasing the remaining 50% of a player (Antonio Candreva)
- 500k has been spent on a loan (Basta)
- 11.75 million was spent on other players in the summer.

So what I will be looking to post some time in February or March is a breakdown of that 11.75 million, how much was spent on each player.

Been reading the same, but I don`t think that the figure of 4 million Euros paid for the entire 50% of Candreva is accurate. It is probably one installment of the price of 9 million which is to be paid by next summer I guess.

Mauro Zarate (Al-Sadd) - 20.2 million < --- this still hurts to read

I am still 99.9% convinced 4 million is the final figure for Candreva - if Udinese quoted any higher, Lotito would take it to blind auction - I said that at the time.

We owned Candreva as much as Udinese did. Paying 9 million for 50% would mean Lotito felt there was a chance Udinese would bid 9+ million at a blind auction. Would never have happened.

Udinese don't exactly drive a hard bargain. Lotito has claimed Basta is here on loan without a buyout clause. When you let your best player leave for 500k, 4 million for 50% of someone else doesn't exactly sound unrealistic.

We'll know more in the new year, but I do think it is clear already. All these figures presented in these balance sheets are total.

Would be sensible if this Basta 'no buyout-clause' is real.  Then if his fitness-injury problems continue troughout this season, there's an easy way out for once.  We are not used to such a situation, would Lotito be learning ???
