Regarding Fuser, he was instrumental in that era Lazio and one of the best that Italy had during that period (and wasn't easy to be one of best during that period). His best football came at Rome and that is fact.

Scare came later, from different reason.

With Zarate is hard to deny how much enthusiasm he created single-handedly. Was Signori from different decade and, unfortunately, lasted less long and less important.

Top three to be, as I see: 3. Beppegol; 2. Nesta and undisputed champion - Chinaglia.

Right on the money

Here is the result:

50: Anfilogino Guarisi

48: Claudio Lopez
47: Karl-Heinze Riedle
46: Angelo Peruzzi
45: Goran Pandev
44: Juan Carlos Morrone
43: Hernan Crespo
42: Miroslav Klose
41: Diego Fuser
40: Christian Vieri
39: Alen Boksic
38: Lucas Castroman
37: Luca Marchegiani
36: Paolo Di Canio
35: Ruben Sosa
34: Sergio Conceicao
33: Matias Almeyda
32: Mario Frustalupi
31: Stefano Fiore
30: Tommaso Rocchi
29: Vladimir Jugovic
28: Senad Lulic
27: Roberto Mancini
26: Giuseppe Favalli
25: Fabio Poli
24: Guerino Gottardi
23: Paolo Negro e Fernando Couto
22: Sentimenti IV
21: Aldo Puccinelli
20: Pierluigi Casiraghi
19: Renzo Garlaschelli
18: Alessandro Calori (che ovviamente non ha militato nella Lazio, ndr)
17: Simone Inzaghi
16: Marcelo Salas
15: Paul Gascoigne
14: Juan Veron
13: Sinisa Mihajlovic
12: Bob Lovati
11: Giuliano Fiorini
10: Pavel Nedved
9: Luciano Re Cecconi
8: Vincenzo D’Amico
7: Pino Wilson
6: Diego Simeone
5: Silvio Piola
4: Bruno Giordano
3: Giuseppe Signori
2: Alessandro Nesta
1: Giorgio Chinaglia

As some of you suggested - Signori, Nesta, Chinaglia are the top 3. Fully deserved in my opinion, but i would have seen Gazza more close to them.

I could argue with some positions (Nedved is curiously high in my opinion) but what I'd like to do is go away and think about whether there's anyone not on that list that deserves to be given who made it.

Interesting to hear if anyone has any thoughts on that.

The list is obviously subjective and biased towards the late 20th/early 21st century.
The inclusion of Calori is more like a joke, especially since Maestrelli for instance has been left out.

Won't need to go far, but that Calori spot should have been taken by Ledesma.

Alfredo Monza miss out without obvious reason, Ezio Sclavi and Uber Gradella too. Also Fulvio Bernardini, first Roman that played for Italian national team.

As a "younger" fan I'm not familiar with the 1990s and early 2000s players, and when I started watching Lazio, Gottardi no longer play any games. And I think some of the players like Castroman, Inzaghi had limited presence on field so I don't get why they are ranked so high.

Some of the Lotito era players like Mauri, Ledesma should definitely be on the list, while humble players like Siviglia, Dabo and Cribari should have a low spot in the ranks due to their contribution during hard times and even brought us Coppa and CL glory.

Stam, Oddo are also prominent players that are left out.
