I couldn't find the Favalli thread in the Former Players section, so not to create a new topic I'll just post it here.

Today, Giuseppe turned 47, and even now, 14 years since his departure from Lazio, I have very fond and vivid memories of him wearing our shirt. What's more, and I needed the article on LLSN to remind me, it seems that with 401 official matches he's the record holder!

401 matches in all competitions is a great achievment, and had he not left for Inter he could have played more.

Radu has 332, Mauri has 303, Lulic 301.

Could Radu or Lulic overtake Favalli? Radu maybe, he isnt going anywhere, hes only 32 and only needs 70 games.

Radu is definitely on the right track. That's two more full seasons, and with the occasional European or Coppa match he could do it by the end of 2020.

Also, Radu and Lulic are to me similar to Favalli and Pancaro - not the same positions but always on the pitch together, inseparable

In relation to our legendary former capitano's birthday, I wrote a profile for the LazioLand website in 2015 that might give you more insight into his career:
