Chiellini openly doubting Juve's pré season.

'We travelled more then we trained'

Dont get your hopes high though! We're going to play against the always-scary-in-recent-years-Juventus anyway.

I never expect a win against Juve, but we beat them before.

This is why I will never complain about our pre-season.. ok so games against Auronzo FC are useless and we win 16-0 and the players get nothing out of it apart from fitness.. but then despite what some think we do play friendlies against "real" teams such as this year Leverkusen and Malaga, and in previous years we almost always go to Germany.

While teams like Juve spend the whole summer travelling around USA and Asia, fielding almost full strength teams against world class oposition because they are contractually obliged to do so by sponsors, so they arrive at the start of the season having already played 5 - 10 games and travelled around the world.

Theres the argument that this means they are more prepared in themselves, but its also undoubtable that they are more tired.

I wouldn't say that they are tired already. But perhaps a bit mentally unprepared for this match.

Hopefully  :offlag:

Do you guys agree that our play against Leverkusen is better than against Malaga and we should put those starting eleven against Leverkusen in final supercoppa?

It's about mentality why we never beat Juve.

Juventus traditionally beat us because traditionally, they've been the stronger team and it's almost as simple as that. When we've had very good sides, we have run them close or taken points off them in the league or beaten them. We have got great results against them in the Coppa in the last couple of decades. There's nothing strange in our head-to-head.

We definitely didn't have enough belief against them last season but that was last season when the likes of Parolo and Biglia didn't think we were anything more than a mid-table side. The team will have more belief this season - that's not to say we are better now, but that the team know they have the ability and that much of our problems in recent years has been between the ears.

But I wouldn't blame results against Juventus on mentality. If they play well against us - which they always do - we can have the best mentality in the world but we're not getting a win unless our players are 100% in a physical and technical sense.

Last season we were well prepared and Juve was same as awful like this starting season and we played against him just in beginning of season where they had an awful pre-season while we have prepared as we are now.
That's the first thing. Secondly, Fiorentina, Torino, Rome and any others club that we are a head of, can beat or play equally  Juve. I know there many factors determined this but it seems our players as soon as facing Juve, they loose theirs grip, their beliefs.
We had opportunities to beat Juve 4 times last season. None of them we were even put an equal result.
On the other hand, we were capable beating or equalising any seri A team.

That's mentality problem

Fiorentina have beaten Juventus twice in their last 18 attempts. Torino have scored 5 points out of a possible 45 in their last 15 league Derbies. 1927 have 3 wins against Juventus in their last 24 league games.

These teams are not doing any better against Juventus than us considering how many times we've knocked them out of the Coppa. What we simply haven't done is beaten them in the league for a long time but we will one day.

as long as we have a terrible defense (system?), our chance to win this is....pretty slim

unlike merda, Juve will punish every single or at least make the most of our mistake
