It's highly unlikely that Immobile won't make Udinese and Caicedo plays instead because Caicedo came out of the Nice game with an issue which I would assume makes him an even greater doubt than Ciro.

Maybe dinhochester finally gets his wish to see Milinkovic Savic as a striker? Where is dinhochester anyway?

Caicedo will miss two to three weeks due to injury he suffered against Nice, Inzaghi said.

Furthermore, Inzaghi appeared to suggest Nani leads the line if Immobile isn't fit to start.

In case you were being serious, not registered.

Nani can play as a striker, did it at Euro 2016. Not an issue. I do think, however, that we'll play 3-4-2-1 in that case. Inzaghi did say he'd have to make slight adjustments, I'd imagine pushing SMS up the pitch is one of those.

My heart saying that would be good to nab them 5:0 just to make warning to pepperoni ahead of Derby, but logic then wakes me up and say: "Any win would be good".

It's a tough decision with Ciro because if he's not 100% fit now then playing tomorrow might aggravate the injury and result in him not being ready for the derby.

It sounds like he has a bruised thigh and the only danger of him missing the Derby with this problem is if he takes another serious blow to it. Possible, but not that likely.

I think he'll be able to play, but if we can get a win without him, there's no reason to take even a small risk.

It would be very interesting if Nani would become our 2nd option striker.
He has much closer similarities to Ciro then Caicedo has.

He was the deepest man against Nice.  Most won't have noticed but Caicedo was positioned behind him.

Would be very much interesting with Nani as Striker and if Ciro not at 100% my first Option. Or sub option.

With full Support from our most competitive squad, SMS and LA upfront, he would have no excuses not to click. And show if we can expect something from him...

Mister Inzaghi though is clever enough to make the right decision...
