Guess it's only to accomodate Coppa games better.  The break is coming between SPAL and Chievo, so 2 more games now.

Time to get the 3 points at Inter to make up for the ones we lost against Torino, it's a must in the race for CL.

I can totally see us winning there.   :sciarpa05:

They moved the winter break because the Premier League with high stadium attendance and TV revenue have a packed schedule over the holiday season and Serie A clubs felt a similar schedule in Italy would improve attendance at the stadium and TV audience.

We have an advantage in this match the fact that we have one extra rest day compare to Inter.
I would like to see Bastos and Luis Alberto play in this match instead of Wallace and Felipe Anderson.
Inter will rate this match highly as they come from two straight defeats.
I expect Milinkovic Savic again will play key role in the match.
Hope that he will be not tired.

If Felipe is already at his 100%, he can actually be useful as a supersub.
The same way can be done as we utilized Keita when he was here.
These pacy players are effective as substitutes.

Its working too, there were more in the stadium yesterday than expected, and Inter is looking sold out.
The general opinion is football over the christmas period is welcome, everyone would normally watch the premiership on TV anyway so to be able to watch your own team for most is a great thing, especially the older generations who remember doing so when they were young.

I don't really trust Bastos anymore, but I think Basta instead of Marusic can improve the right side of defense, which is really much needed.

Can we get cleansheet here? Candreva of course will deliver his endless useless crossing as usual, but they are lucky having a goal poacher like Icardi. I still remember the last time we faced them, our defenders seemed lost like they had no idea where Icardi was. Lulic n Radu need to shut Candreva there, also someone should bring a rope to tie up Icardi. Also I hope it's not the combo of Bastos n Marusic on the right VS Perisic.

I feel for the first time great after a Milan win!

Hope, Inter will be tired as hell and we bein clinical and exhausting with our atk and catk play and absorbing any pressure by organised concentrated defending - frustrating them amy further...

Wounded dogs are the most dangerous though!
