Read somewhere they called him Roberto Carlos. High praise, but not a bad comparison for his style of play.

It's official - Durmisi is a Lazio player having signed a contract until 2023.

I'm happy with this move! Can't wait to see what he can do with our shirt.

Still cant see the reason behind this transfer. ?
Why we are keen on this kind of players, stats poor, out of WC in Russia, hope he proves me wrong..

Well, Lulic is getting older and Lukaku is to injuryprone. About the leftout of the WC squad as explain here before is due to his position. He is more fitted to play a LWB (as we do) than the LB (as Denmark NT do).

I'm very excited about this transfer, thinks he can do well. 2 Assist against SPAL.

I don't understand all the focus on his absence for the World Cup. He's been a regular in the Denmark side and that decision was explained as tactical and one many Danes could not fathom.

Surely of more relevance is the fact Durmisi was a regular for a team that finished in the Top 6 in the league that has a strangehold on the European cups at present.

On paper, he has a much better CV than both Lukaku and Marusic at time of signing.

Much faster than Lulic, much more creative than Lukaku. Riza was brought in to be a dynamic attacking threat down the left wing. Very often we left really good opportunities on the pitch with Lulic not being able to use space in front of him anymore, and Lukaku simply not aware enough. Lulic will most likely be 1st choice at season start, with Durmisi featuring when he needs a rest or we need a spark.

Would love a comparable signing at RWB. Maybe a more well-rounded player than Riza. Marusic has the chance to improve but he needs competition.
