Yeah but I plainly said during their period at Lazio Oddo was better than Lichtsteiner and I'll stand by that.

Edit: Just read back my posts and I didn't actually make that 100% clear.

Oddo being better at Lazio I could perhaps get on board with.

Let's just say that both Oddo and Licthi would be very, very, VERY welcome in this current Lazio team!

I interpreted it as the best players at the time they were Mauri's teammates. So presume he is referring to Brescia/Lazio Matuzalem. TBH I can easily see how he would select him in such a side/

Matuzalem?

Also Lulic is surely better than Jankulovski?

Jankulovski is a player that history will underrate IMO, simply due to the fact that he played during a time when Serie A had some real global superstars in his position. He was a regular starter in a Champions League winning Milan side though and a super reliable guy for Udinese before that.  Also played for a great Czech side.

If he were playing today, I don't think there'd be much comparison.

I agree with phantomm -- the omission that surprised me most was Ledesma.

 Oddo vs Lichty ?
Oddo was part of Italian NT who win the WC.
Oddo was part of Lazio in CL, Won(or final) with Milan in CL...
Lichty was part of Juve who could won the serie a with 9 players-didnt have some big role.
 Agree with Mauri.
