Tip for Win7 users, maybe someone still doesn't know it:

Create a new folder on the desktop, rename it as below:

Code: [Select]
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}.
Execute and enjoy!

You're welcome mate!
As you can see you get almost complete control on every task of the OS.
Pretty useful.

Yep, Windows has several easter egg as well.

I remember when I was using Office 2000 10 years ago there is a cheat code that could bring you to the new hidden feature, it was a game. Yes a game on Office but I forgot what the code was.

Ok guys, need some expert help

I'm buying a new PC and dunno which processor i should go for. Stuck between AMD Phenom II N620 or Intel Core i5. I will probably go for an HP Pavilion. If someone don't have another suggestion.. and not a MacBook please.

I've got around 900 to play with. Shoot.

And lollapalooza, should u just create a new folder with that strange name? What will happend?

HP rulz. If you ask me, go for Intel chipsets.
Save yourself 100 by buying a laptop without an operating system pre-installed, then get a pirated version of the OS you prefer. Or go for Linux if you have the balls.
Don't buy anything that has the following features:
1. Camera
2. Fingerprint reader
3. Glossy finish
4. anything that isn't a touchpad
5. Dual-Layer DVD burners- waste of money
6. HDD's over 360GB - unnecessary

Try getting sth that has the following:
1. docking station option
2. as many USB ports as humanely possible
3. all the firewire and other interfaces
4. WI-FI!!!  WLAN!!! BLUETOOTH!!!
5. HDMI ports
6. speakers are preferable
7. As much RAM as possible

In Croatia for that kind of money you could get a HP Probook 6550. Awesomeness.

Nothing wrong with it as a feature, but do you really need it? And it's an expensive add-on. A windows log-in password + an admin pass for executable files etc. is enough protection. If you really want it there are usb fingerprint readers, that are like car keys to your PC. Stick them in, swipe your finger, take them out.
Laptops in general, in my opinion, need to be as simple as possible. Only the key programs need to be installed, only the most important data needs to be stored. For everything else there is flash memory or external hard drives. What you need in a laptop is a fast CPU, good graphics, enough RAM at first because upgrading is expensive, a quality finish for keys and touch-pad.

Laptops are built to expire; never splash the cash on them.

I'd go with Acer. Always.

I would likewise go with HP! With the amount of money at disposal you have, you can get one heck of a laptop.

If I was you however, you can get a decent one with as much as 600-700 and save the rest of the money for other gadgets.
