Ledesma is also a big part of the Lazio family. He wears Lazio colors in his heart and while he was here he always acted like a leader and a true captain. What Lotito did to him was a disgrace.

Ledesma also knew to smack the ball from outside the box and score some amazing goals. His derby goals are both beauties, especially the one he scored when we won 3 0. Intelligence and calmness is what he used to bring to our game.

He got my vote immediately. Forza Ledesma  :offlag:

Some topics I am curious about

- How much do they train with the first team?
- What is life like at formello? What does an average day look like for a primavera player
- What players are the ones to keep an eye on? outside the obvious ones
- Life in formello after Joop Lensen
- Which first team players socialize with the primavera players, if any?

Ledesma was a popular player among all Lazio fans, but honestly, he was usually slow. I never considered him a top player.

Ledesma wasn't pretty on the eye at times so I can understand why some fans were never enamuored with him, but I think he is underrated as his legacy was hurt by Lucas Biglia, who I think many are now beginning to accept might not have been all he was cracked up to be.

Yes, Ledesma was slow, and yes, many of the balls he pinged forward went out of play or straight to the opposition. And he was always criticised on that basis.

But in my opinion, neither Biglia or Leiva come close to interpreting the game like Ledesma did and it's the main reason the Lazio defence post-Ledesma - which is infinitely more talented overall - cannot perform to the same standard as was the case when Ledesma was around. Lazio totally fell apart and flirted with relegation in the half-year period we went without him. As much as I am a huge admirer of Leiva's ability, this current Lazio team would probably be enjoying Champions League football if peak Ledesma was around.

He was no world class talent, but he's one of the most intelligent players I've ever seen. And I'm really glad he's walking this poll.

I voted for Parolo. He is a different type of player from Leiva and Ledesma, so it's not a fair comparison. But since they were all in the same poll, I decided to go for Parolo.

Ah you taking two players?

Well, I get the impression people wanted the formation to be flexible and I'm sort of letting the polls work it out.

No matter what way you line up the team, we need two central-midfield players at a minimum and Parolo is second in this poll and winning on Twitter, so I think he simply makes the cut and that's it. Although there's been a flurry of votes for Leiva and the dissolved Biglia fan club could yet reform, so I'll not count the chickens yet

We'll have to do some additional polls to determine the preferred tactic, I guess. For example, Radu, de Vrij and Biava are set in stone since Radu was the 3rd most popular centre-back and most popular left-back, but whether we ultimately go with a back 3 or a back 4 with Oddo is something that probably needs to be determined...

This is complicated, but I think the intelligent supporters that we are want the freedom!

It's simple, include Parolo in the attacking section too and see if he gets picked. He probably won't but it'll still be a fair reflection on what the majority sees as Lazio's best XI.

Don't think we'll need to, as he's almost certainly going to get into the XI on the basis of this vote...

Strange that Brocchi got no votes.
